The Challenge

The PROPEL Center, a global innovation and learning hub for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), required a platform migration from HubSpot to Webflow to enhance functionality, scalability, and visual impact. The goal was to bring a design agency’s intricate vision to life while implementing advanced animations, integrating complex functionalities, and maintaining SEO performance.

Our Approach

Our partnership with the PROPEL Center began in August 2024, progressing through two key phases:

Phase 1: Collaborated with a design agency to develop a dynamic homepage in Webflow, featuring advanced animations to align with the PROPEL Center's innovative vision and meet the high expectations of board members and executives.
Phase 2: Migrated the entire PROPEL Center website from HubSpot to Webflow, with a focus on:
- Website Development: Creating seven highly animated, interactive pages based on the design agency’s work.
- Integration Implementation: Adding complex integrations to support the site’s functionality.
- SEO Optimization: Ensuring a smooth, SEO-focused migration to maintain and improve search rankings.

The Solution

The completed PROPEL Center website features:

We originally were upgrading just our website but expanded the project to redesigning our logo as well. I believe this really helped the process. Danni from Belt Creative really understood our concept by creating a new logo which rolled into creating a dynamite web site. She also did a great job of honoring our old logo and website and blending it with our new logo and website.
